Nordic Pure 14x20x1M7+C-12 Pleated Air Filters MERV 7 Plus Carbon 12 Pack – 14x20x1 are made with dual-layer media that combines MERV 7 rated filtration material fused with an activated carbon layer to help eliminate odors while capturing airborne dust and particulate matter for fresher, cleaner air. The activated carbon attracts and holds odorous gases and vapors (VOC) without compromising airflow. These filters feature a heavy-duty, moisture-resistant beverage board frame with a metal mesh support grid bonded to the pleats for extra durability. The permanently electrostatically charged media acts like a magnet to trap dust effectively. MERV 7 Plus Carbon filters are comparable to air filters rated MPR 600. For optimal efficiency and air quality, it’s recommended to replace your air filter every 30-90 days.
