Directions 1. Clean both flange surfaces. Remove paint, dirt, grease, or old gasket completely. 2. Spray Permatex Surface Prep® activator on one surface only. Allow to dry 1-2 minutes. 3. Apply a continuous bead of sealant to the unprimed surface. 4. Assemble mating surfaces with minimal lateral movement. Wipe away excess sealant with a cloth. 5. To dress a gasket: Apply sealant to both flange surfaces, cover both sides of the pre-cut gasket with sealant, and assemble mating surfaces.
