For best adhesion, lightly sand smooth surfaces. If painting aluminized or galvanized pipes, sandblasting and thorough cleaning are recommended.Masking: Mask off any areas not intended for painting to prevent overspray.Shaking the Can: Shake the aerosol can vigorously for at least one minute after the mixing ball begins to rattle. Continue shaking periodically during application.Application: Hold the can 10-12 inches from the surface and apply in light, even coats. Avoid heavy coats to prevent runs. Apply multiple thin coats rather than one thick coat. Allow 10 minutes between coats.Drying: The coating will be dry to the touch in 30 minutes and can be handled in 1 hour.
