FLEX PROTECTORS isolate selected piping sections such as flexible connections from the surrounding ground or backfill, thereby eliminating the need to cathodically protect these products.FLEX PROTECTORS are highly resistant to petroleum-based fuels and offer long-term resistance to corrosive soils. Their unique polymer formulation insures long service life. Unlike cathodic protection, regular inspections by a “CATHODIC PROTECTION TESTER” and the resulting paperwork/documentation is NOT required with FLEX PROTECTOR. Due to their unique ability to “shrink fit” and to conform to various dimensions, there is no need to stock many different sizes of FLEX PROTECTORS.
