M7 Impact Adapter 3/4 Drive Female x 1/2 Drive Male Ball Lock Pin (ME684)

The M7 ME684 lets you attach a 3/4” female socket head to an air impact wrench with a 1/2” male drive. This quickly turns your 3/4” pneumatic ratchet wrench into a 1/2” wrench. The key is its 1/2” male drive. It fits securely into a 3/4” female socket on an M7 air impact wrench. Since this socket is made from Chromium-Molybdenum, it resists corrosion and flaking caused by high-torque air tools.

A ball lock pin is another feature of this M7 impact adapter. When inserted into the tool, the ball bearing gets pushed inside the shaft. Once fully loaded, a spring mechanism pushes the ball bearing back out of the shaft and into the host tool. This provides a secure lock between the socket and the tool. To remove it, simply press a button that pushes the ball bearing back into the joint’s shaft. This releases the lock and allows you to pull the socket free.
