If the MAXTRAX Recovery System is overloaded, the MAXTRAX Fuse Shackle is designed to be the weakest link, preventing damage to more critical components. It is essential to use the MAXTRAX Rope Dampener positioned near the MAXTRAX Fuse Shackle during recovery operations to reduce the risk of rope snapback.
