Block the wheels on the opposite end of the vehicle that you intend to lift to prevent movement.Position the Jack: Locate a suitable lifting point on the vehicle’s frame or axle, as recommended by the vehicle manufacturer. Center the jack’s saddle directly under this point.Engage the Release Valve: Turn the release valve (typically at the base of the jack handle) clockwise until it is firmly closed. Do not overtighten.Pump the Handle: Insert the handle into the handle socket. Begin pumping the handle steadily up and down. The ram will extend, raising the vehicle.Achieve Desired Height: Continue pumping until the vehicle reaches the required height for your task. Never extend the jack beyond its maximum lift height.Secure the Load: Once the desired height is achieved, immediately place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle’s designated support points. Lower the vehicle slowly onto the jack stands by gradually turning the release valve counter-clockwise.Remove the Jack: Once the vehicle is securely supported by jack stands, fully lower the bottle jack by turning the release valve further counter-clockwise and then remove it.Lower the Vehicle (Post-Task): When ready to lower the vehicle, slightly raise it with the bottle jack to remove the jack stands.
