The Shelby 5228FDP Koala Tan Fire Gloves are the softest, most flexible gloves made for structural firefighters. Constructred from heavy-weight midnight blue Koala Tanned Cowhide that is fire retardant, heat resistant and cut/abrasion resistant. The more you wear these gloves, the more soft and supple they become! Featuring a non-cracking, one-piece liner/barrier system made from GORE™ RT7100 fabric that is permanently sewn to the glove shell and eliminates lining pullout after repeated uses. Additionally, the Patent pending Shelby Glove Finger Attachment System relays the absolute best fingertip tactility by utilizing a unique adjacent layering technique without the customary attachment technology that typically impairs fingertip touch, feel and mobility. The gauntlet style cuff extends 2” beyond the wrist crease to ensure a snug fit and that debris stays out. All seams are sealed with a DuPont silicone sealant. These gloves are NFPA compliant and SEI certified.
