Alternatively, the SmartShunt IP65 can be connected and be read by a Victron Energy GX device. Connection to the Victron Energy SmartShunt is made via a VE.Direct cable. Victron Energy SmartShunt IP65 is a good alternative for a Victron Energy BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is needed but less wiring and clutter is wanted.
